Veggies & Sides

Last week, a group of us enjoyed a great evening of paleo cooking and wine pairings from Paul Hamilton, owner of Vin de Set, a lovely St. Louis restaurant known for it’s great rooftop view and good, quality local offerings.

Growing up in Texas, my dad always had a garden. We enjoyed all kinds of veggies as kids, but the one that had my interest was okra.

One of my favorite side dishes is broccoli slaw.

If you are looking for a yummy side, this salad fits the bill.

I made this side dish over Thanksgiving and I have to say it was pretty tasty. I love the versatility of cauliflower.

This is a great recipe, especially this time of year when the produce is so wonderful. Fit as much as you can into your baking dish as there is shrinkage when you bake. It is also better the next day!
